A look into what we do
Alongside our open access workshop supporting artists to produce more ambitious work locally, we also work in partnership with others to deliver creative projects in public space.
Drawing on the skills of the artists who use the workshop, alongside the equipment and fabrication facilities we provide, we develop practical solutions through a creative placemaking approach. Our work engages communities directly in the hands on design and making of interventions that help beautify spaces, bring back vibrancy, and add social life to underused places.
We are always open to working with new partners, whether local authorities, arts organisations, property owners, government bodies or community groups, to reimagine public space using the Sawdust approach.
